Book Covers that Move You: City of Women

This book cover is absolutely radiant. To my disappointment, a better picture of it has yet to be posted on the Internet. Like Alan Furst’s commentary about the novel, the cover is nothing if not extraordinary. The painted face cloaked in a veil of raindrops makes this cover sparkle. I cannot wait to read City of Women. My only fear, however, is that the book will not measure up to the cover. We’ll just have to wait and see . . .
